The Point - Spring 2021 - Role: Visual Director - Story: “Modern Day Slaves”
During her freshman fall in 2018, Rose joined The Point’s publication team as a designer. As a novice in the field, Rose designed the spreads for “I Survived,” written by Monica Kochan and Jubilee Pham, as well as some Instagram content used to introduce The Point’s 2018 staff.

Awards & Recognitions

Rose went to San Francisco for the 2020 ACP/CMBAM College Journalism Convention in order to accept the first-place award for Best Magazine Photo Series, awarded to Rose, Caitlin and Grace Horvat, for their work on “Forget this Network.”

Rose’s photo-manipulation and her other design choices, alongside Kyle’s unique style choices in his photography, won them 3rd place in the 2019 Colombia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) Gold Circle Awards’ “Photo Illustration” category.
